Tuff was raised and trained here at Darby Oaks Stables. Tuff’s sire, WC Coin’s Skyjacker, was a multi-time world champion versatility horse and won Florida’s Battle of the Breeds. Wayne and Tracy bought Skyjacker through an auction as a four year old and had him 16 great years before losing him in 2004. Fortunately, Wayne bred him to his one of his best mares (Mountain’s Burgundy, by WGC Ebony’s Mountain Man) and produced Tuff before his passing. Destined to walk in his father’s footsteps, Tuff told everyone early on that he was also going to be a versatile horse. He completed his Supreme Versatility Championship by the age of four and has already won numerous World Versatility Championships and High Points in his seven short years.

Tuff is passing on his good looks and ability. His offspring are already proving themselves in the show ring, at Versatility events and in Extreme Cowboy Races. In 2022, Tuff’s offspring won countless Extreme Cowboy Races, several World Versatility Championships and 2X T-Buck won his first World Championship at the Extreme Cowboy Race World Finals in Glen Rose, Texas.
